Community Speed Watch

Sutton Cheney Parish Council undertook the community Speed Watch in Dadlington and Sutton Cheney during the months of June and July in 2007.

What is happening now?

As a Parish Council we met with Mr Ian Vears, team manager of Leicestershire County Council Transport Schemes Development, on Wednesday 21st January 2009. He and a colleague attended the meeting to comment , listen to views and answer questions about the Parish’s Community Speedwatch Survey conducted in 2007.

After considering the Survey, Mr Vears said it was the intention of the County Council to do a full assessment during the summer of 2009 to monitor speeding vehicles within the villages of Sutton Cheney and Dadlington in order to determine what measures, if any, should be taken.
